D. Bailey, 74, died at 10 o'clock Sunday morning at Aurora Hospital. Mr. Bailey was born in Aurora February 16, 1853 and was employed by the Burlington railroad. Upon retiring from railroad work 4 years ago, he moved back to Aurora.
Besides his wife, Mary E., he is survived by two sons, Clarence C. of Schenectady, N.Y., and Guy D. of Sedalia, Mo.; also one daughter, Mrs. W. R. Rolfe of Waco, Tex.
Mr. Bailey was a member of Emporia Lodge No. 12, A.F. & A.M. Sterling chapter No. 50, R.A.M. of Emporia, Reno Commandery No. 26, Knights Templar of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Midiam Shrine of Wichita, Kan. He was formerly a member of Jerusalen Temple Lodge No. 90, A.F. & A.M.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock this aternoon from the Healy chapel, the Rev. W. B. Hindman officiating. Burial was in Spring Lake cemetery. Services were in charge of Jerusalem Temple Lodge No. 90, A. F. & A.M."
