Mrs Maude K. riggs, 94, Greeley died Monday 19 Jan at Weld County General Hospital...born 29 Apr 1886 to David and Christian (Kennish) Kelly at Mound City, MO...married 11 Jan 1911 Charles Oscar riggs at Lucerne..she came to Greeley from Missouri in 1895...gfraduated Colorado University with degree in home economics..taught at Wheatland, WY for one year..she and husband farmed in Lucerne for 65 years..he died 24 Oct 1972...she was member of Trinity Episcopal church and Trinity Guild, Lucerne Social club, OKSN club and Chapter 1 of PEO....survived by sister Mrs GLadys Carroll of Greeleya dn brother Wm R. Kelly of Greeley...interment Linn Grove Cemetery.
