I have a copy of the Talpey family history written by Mrs.Richard Talpey from New York and it dates back to the Isle of Shoals, Maine no one seems to be able to get any further back. My uncle Ruel Talpey lives in Jackman, Me. and together we've been searching for years but no luck as of yet. Hope you can find more. The "mauscript" is not in a final book form. I'd be happy to send you a copy if you'd like. I am the daughter of Augustus Talpey, s/o Ralph, s/o Augustus, s/o Erastus, s/o Rufus, s/o Thomas, s/o Richard b.1703, England.
