A Memorial Service for Steven Kenneth Straw, age 52, will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 31, 2014, at Central Christian Church, with Rev. John McLemore officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Steve was born to Kenneth and Betty (Hyatt) Straw on April 8, 1961, in Tulsa, and died Friday, January 24, 2014, in Enid.
Steve grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. He has worked at the City of Enid in the street department and then water treatment for 34 years. Steve married Kelly Randles on August 4, 2000. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and going to car shows and cruise nights. Steve was a very generous and helpful person to family, friends, and strangers.
Steve is survived by wife Kelly; two children, Brandie Randles and fiancé Jerame Thompson of Elmore City, and Brandon (Adrian) Randles of Waukomis; two grandchildren, Reese and Evan Randles; father Kenneth Straw of Enid; brother Carliss Straw of Kansas; step-brother Harold Thompson of Oklahoma City; sisters Cindy Vendetti of Enid, Kay Hankoff and Janet Latham, both of California; step-sister Sherry Litson of Oklahoma City.
He was preceded in death by his mother Betty, niece Melissa Hankoff, and father-in-law Jack Randles.
Memorials may be made to Garfield County Anti-Bullying Task Force.
