"Trying to find the parents of Jemima Henderson, b abt 1806 in Indiana. She married my ggg grandfather Mathias Parson Jr in 1833 in Fountain County. She was previously married to Reuben R. Penwell. Also trying to get more info on Nathan Parson, Mathias brother (both are sons of Mathias Parson, who was married to mercy Shaw...they both died in Tippecanoe County in mid 1830s)"

"George W Parsons (Parson) is the 1/2 brother of my gg grandfather Joel Parson. Father is Mathias Parson Jr (parents Mathias Parson and Mercy/Mascy Shaw), b abt 1791 in Essex, NJ - he married Jane Hillman and had at least 4 children: Samuel, Rachael, John, Joel, and possibly Sarah. He then married Jemima Henderson (who was previously married to Reuben R Penwell) and had 5 children that we know of at this time: Jacob Henderson Parson in 1836, Martin Parson in 1838, George W. in 1844, Esther in 1846, and Murunda/Miranda in 1851. We know Murunda was born in WI, but believe the other children were born in IL or IN."

Jemima married Mathias Parson on 29 Dec 1833 in Fountain County, Indiana. (Mathias Parson was born on 13 Mar 1795 in New Providence, Union County, New Jersey, died on 6 Feb 1878 in Hale, McLeod County, Minnesota and was buried in Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson, McLeod County, Minnesota.)
