Shirley E. Tillman, 53, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011, in her home. She was born Sept. 24, 1957, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Wilfred and Adeline (Kerby) Straw. Shirley worked for Walmart of Cloquet for the past 15-plus years. She also co-owned Duluth Superior Trophy with her husband, Mike, and was the secretary of the Nifty 50 Cruisers Car Club which was her life.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Adeline Straw.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; daughters, Angela Tillman and Amber (Dan) Stevens, both of Cloquet; father, Wilfred (Elaine) Straw; brothers, Pat (Kim) Kerby, John Kerby, Tom Kerby, and Mike (Lisa) Kerby, all of Minneapolis, Minn.; sister, Deb (Gary) Letendre of Austin, Minn.; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Shirley's life will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Nelson Funeral Care, 1004 Cloquet Ave., Cloquet.
