Lucretia had a relationship with Sargent Bennett, son of Tilton Bennett and Sarah Straw. (Sargent Bennett was born in 1806 in Andover, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, died on 21 May 1884 in Franklin, Merrimack County, New Hampshire and was buried in Not Noted.). The cause of his death was Paralysis.

  Marriage Notes:

There is no evidence of a marriage. Lucretia kept her first husband's name in all documentation I could locate [census, City directories etc]
No where is she ever listed as Lucretia Bennett. She and Sargent did have children together but none of her children by Danforth were "adopted" by Sargent Bennett or took the surname of Bennett.

Lucretia next married James M. Danforth on 28 May 1849 in Northfield, New Hampshire. (James M. Danforth was born circa 1823 in Northfield, Merrimack County, New Hampshire and died on 16 Aug 1864 in Prison at Salisbury, North Carolina.). The cause of his death was Wounds received in Civil War.
