Beverly was born Sept. 9, 1935, first-born child of William J. and Sina Mae Peyton Straw in Long Branch, New Jersey. She met and married her husband, Darrell Cloud, in Salt Lake City. They were blessed with four sons, Donald, Allen, Christopher, and Michael. The family moved to California, where she raised her sons and served in many capacities within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed music, reading, and gardening and was an excellent seamstress.
Beverly later returned to Springville, and went on to earn a Master Degree of Social Science from BYU. She was the oldest of her graduating class at the age of 63. She worked as a counselor for LDS Social Services and later retired from Valley Mental Health in Provo, Utah. Beverly loved being a positive influence in the lives of those around her.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Scott and Paul, and her niece Rachel. She is survived by her sons Donald, Allen, Christopher, and Michael; her grandchildren, Adiel, Adam, Stephanie, and Randall; and her two great-grandchildren. Beverly is also survived by her brothers, William C. Straw, Jeffery P. Straw, and her sister, Molly M. Averett.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Feb. 25 at 1 pm at the Lehi 4th Ward, 851 N.1200 E., Lehi, Utah. Friends and family may also call Thursday evening, Feb. 24 from 6 pm to 8 pm and again from 12 pm - 1 pm, prior to the services on Friday, all at the Lehi 4th Ward. Interment - Lehi Cemetery in Lehi Utah.
