Jack James Straw Jr., died in his sleep on the morning of Monday, July 24, 2017, a week short of his 62nd birthday.
Jack was born in Kennewick, Wash., and had been a longtime resident of Klamath Falls, where he worked as a licensed property manager for Stewart Properties.
He married his childhood sweetheart, Peggy Haye, and they shared nearly 45 years together as partners in life. This union brought son, Berkely (Lindsay Bondshu), and daughter, Andrea, both of Portland.
Rightly, Jack recognized he was a larger than life personality. He was quick to make friends and kept his friends for life. He was president of the booster club at Shasta Elementary School and was a longstanding member of the Bloody Mary of the Month Club.
In addition to immediate family, Jack is survived by his sister, Marcy (Mark Westlund); his "workwife," Jennifer Dunn (Chris); and his beloved dogs.
As Jack would likely say right now "Bless your heart!"
