Find A Grave Memorial 137534115 Spouse: Lola May FARMER Busch Father: Louis Busch Mother: "Minnie" FRIES Busch Ed Busch Services Held Here Tuesday- "Funeral services were conducted at the Oregon Presbyterian Church Tuesday afternoon for Edward Louis Busch, 85, who died at his home here Sunday. The Rev. A.D. Smith officiated at the rites. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Mound City. Mr. Busch, a stockman and farmer, was born at Syracuse, Neb., the son of Louis and Wilhelmina Fries Busch. He moved to Holt County in 1920, residing at Mound City until 1934 and at Oregon since then. He and Mrs. Busch were well known for the acres of peonies they grew for florists and individuals in the mid-west each spring. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lola Mae Busch, of the home; five sons, Myron Busch, Beatrice, Nebr., E. Homer Busch, Grand Lake, Colo., Wallace Busch, Mound City, Francis John Busch, Savannah, and Samuel Busch, St. Joseph; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Buckingham, Kansas City, Mo., and mrs. Marjorie Field, Mound City; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One son, Royal Charles preceded him in death." Source: Clipping/Holt County Missouri Historical Society, Mound City, MO.
