Dave and Susan (nee Cole) are thrilled to announce the birth of their son, Jake David Robert, weighing 8 lbs. 3 ozs.. Born Sept. 10, 1996 at Ajax, Ontario. A brother for Erin. Proud grandparents are Bob and Eileen Cole and Carmel Kielly.

KIELLY, Carmel C. - Aged 69, formerly of O'Derin, Placentia Bay, passed peacefully away at the Ottawa General Hospital after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer on Monday, February 16, 2004. Leaving to mourn brothers: Arthur in Toronto, Donald (Maureen), Mount Pearl; and sister: Madonna Smith (Kipston), Eaganville, and sister-in-law: Carmel M. Kielly, St. John's. Carmel will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a large circle of friends, especially her niece: Davina Misner (Al), Ottawa. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass on Friday, February 27, 2004, at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Carmel married David Kielly, son of John Kielly and Bridget Power, in 1949. (David Kielly was born on 24 Feb 1921, died on 24 Aug 1993 and was buried in Holy Sepulchre RC Cemetery - St. John's, Newfoundland.)
