Predeceased by his parents Peter J. and Katherine (Hepditch) Collins, siblings Mary, Raymond, Bridget, Michael, and Nora, infant son Kirk, and brothers-in-law Sandy Collins, David Kielly and Gordon Butler. Left with loving memories are his wife Roselyn (Lyn Matthews), sons Brian, grandsons AJ and Adam, and their mother Beth, Yellowknife; Peter (Deanne Pierson), grandson Nigel, and his mother, Brenda, Mount Pearl; daughter Danette and husband Peter Johnson, granddaughter Nora, St. John's. Step-children Joseph Rousseau and wife Lynda, Houston TX, Tracey Rousseau (Stephen Gnoshi), Boulder CO, and Nicole Rousseau (David Andrews), St. John's. Mother-in-Law, Janet Matthews Forward, Paradise. Brothers Michael and wife Donna, St. John's; Leo (Josette Dayenais),Toronto ON; sisters Carmel Kielly, St. John's and Theresa Collins, Placentia. Brothers-in-law Rob Matthews and wife Mary, Hubley NS; Garry Matthews and wife Sandy, Clifton NS; sister-in-law Fay Matthews and husband Geoff Fowlow, Arnold's Cove, and a large circle of nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road with visitation Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick's Church, Patrick Street, Monday May 25, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow with inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Special thanks to staff and volunteers, Agnes Pratt home; Dr. I. Martins, Dr. T. Rolfe and Dr. G. Butler. Flowers gratefully accepted.
