Ellen Hepditch is my grandmother. She and Maggie made many trips "over the hills" from Clattice NW to St. Kyran's to visit Aunt Kate Connors who was their half-sister. They moved to Southern Hr in 1966 and built a house next to ours. Maggie died in a seniors home in the Goulds in 1976 and Grandma died at Lion's Manor in Placentia in 1989 at the age of 98. She lived alone in her house in Southern Hr until 1985 and continued to walk up the harbour to visit friends until she broke her hip at the age of 94.
Margaret married Maurice Hunt. (Maurice Hunt was born circa 1898, died on 14 Jun 1943 in Argentia, Newfoundland and was buried in Clattice Harbor SW Cemetery - Newfoundland.). The cause of his death was Killed at Argentia, Newfoundland.
