Passed away peacefully at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on Sunday, May 10, 2015, John Bonaventure Wadman of Southern Harbour, formerly of Bar Haven, aged 81 years. Predeceased by his wife Loretta and sons Colin and John. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children Regina (Terry Parsons) at Southern Harbour, Yvonne (Rejean Baillargeon) at Clarenville, Terry (Bev Stone) at Monroe, Aiden (Sybil) at Arnold's Cove, Elaine (Scott Pitcher) at Clarenville, Debbie (Glenn Barrett) at Southern Harbour, and Gary (Corina) at Arnold's Cove; grandchildren Russell (Cathy) Parsons, Janessa & Terrilynn Parsons (Chad Murphy), Amy Lake (Tim Young), Tracy (Darryl Baggs), Jeremy Lake (Tiffany Thorne), Donnika & Jaiden Wadman, Bradley (Krista) & Hillary Pitcher, Giselle Barrett (Trevor Young), Bailey & Brady Barrett, Taylor Bolt, Brent & Kurt Wadman; great- grandchildren Ryan, Cole & Peyton Parsons, Kaylee, Karson & Karlee Parsons, Liam Young, Riley & Raegan Lake, Kyro Thorne, Gemma Lake, and Baby Young( to be born soon); Sisters Mary Wadman & Aquilla Whiffen (Alf); Brothers Kevin (Sylvia) & Bill (Rita); Sisters-in-law Mary Sweeney (Mike), Annie O'Rourke & Margaret Parsons; extended family Paul Perham (Mina) and family; and a very large circle of family and friends, especially his friends at Hilltop Manor, Arnold's Cove. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Arnold's Cove. Funeral mass was held at Christ The King Church, Southern Harbour on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. In his memory donations to the Ronald MacDonald House of Newfoundland would be greatly appreciated.

John married Loretta Imelda Leonard, daughter of David Joseph Leonard and Mary C. "Mamie" Parsons, in 1958 in St. Kyran's, Newfoundland. (Loretta Imelda Leonard was born on 9 Jul 1936 in Clattice Harbor NW, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, Canada, died on 6 Apr 2006 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada and was buried in Roman Catholic Cemetery, Southern Harbour.)
