LAKE, Daniel J. - Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on June 7, 1995, Daniel J. Lake of Mount Pearl, formerly of Clattice Harbour, Placentia Bay, in his 79th year. Predeceased by his son-in-law, Captain Jerry Hanlon, 1990. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Mary (Parsons) of 51 years; seven daughters: Annie Whyte (June), Clara Linehan (Don), Hannah Hanlon, Mildred Brazil (Wayne), Theresa Dinn (Gordon), Beverly Stafford (Paul), and Yvonne Power (Sean); three sons: Felix (Joan), Cletus (Anne) and Danny (Marlene); 21 loving grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother Jack, South East Bight; sisters: Flora Gambin, Placentia, Veronica Connors, Placentia and Betsy Byrne, North Carolina. Also to leaving a large number of nieces and nephew, relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Funeral Mass on Saturday June 10th, 1995 at 11:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World Church. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
