Y. Hepditch Notes for Marie Rita CAREY: General Notes: HEPDITCH, Marie Rita -- (1935 - 1998), Corner Brook, NF. It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Rita Hepditch announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, April 13th, 1998, following a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves to mourn her loving and devoted husband of 39 years, John; six children : Regina Hepditch-Vardy (Darrell) and Maureen Anderson (George), St. John's, Margaret Hepditch, Arlene D'Eon (Bennett) and Aiden Hepditch (friend Cindy Gillam), Corner Brook and Anne Hepditch (Robert Cantin) Trois Rivieres, Quebec; three grandchildren: Kevin Joseph, Dylan Anderson, and Patrick D'Eon; one sister Madeline Peirine (Ken), Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia; two brothers: Benjamin Carey (Alicia) and John Carey (Mary), Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents: Margaret and Clifford Carey, originally of Conche. The family will be receiving friends from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Ave. beginning on Tuesday from 7-9 and Wednesdayfrom the hours of 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral Mass will take place from All Hallow's Church, Humber Road, on Thursday, APril 16th at 10:30 a.m., Monseigor William Boone officiating. Internment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Arthritis Society of NF and Labrador Division in Marie's memory would be greatly appreciated.
