R. J Power researcher - Notes for ____ Sheehan:
First generation immigrant from Ireland. After the untimely death of her husband Philip, Mrs. Power married a Mr. Fogarthy. Although the year of her husband's death is not known, indications are that the accident happened before 1940.
She moved to Oderin, Placentia Bay with Mr. Fogarthy. Her sons Philip and Patrick also made the move, which may indicate they were still under her care at the time. Oderin is an island at the head of Placentia Bay, located roughly 14 km from Petit Forte, the nearest mainland community.

Sheehan married Philip Power Sr. (Philip Power Sr. was born in Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary, Ireland and died before 1840 in Burin, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.). The cause of his death was accidental/killed launching a boat.
