LEONARD, Greta (nee Perry) - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center on Tuesday, January 6, 1998 Greta Leonard, aged 77 years. Predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth, November 28, 1989. Leaving to mourn her loss is her family: husband Edward; daughter Barbara (Peter Simmonds); sons: David (Linda), Edward (Eddie); grandchildren: Adam, Matthew, David and Jennifer Simmonds; great-grandson Brandon. Also left to mourn are her brothers: Max Perry, Newtown, B. Bay, Ben Perry (Julie), Badger's Quay, B. Bay; sisters: Rose (Pearce Rideout), Centerville, B. Bay, Carrie (Gordon Templeman), Paradise, many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral Service will take place from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 9th, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road. Greta married Edward Leonard, son of James Leonard and Mary Margaret Rodgers. (Edward Leonard was born on 24 Apr 1916 in St. Leonard's, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, Canada and died on 18 Jun 2012 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.)
