Passed away at Placentia on Wednesday, November 3, 2004, Malcolm F. Best age 81 years, formerly of Southern Harbour, Placentia Bay. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Julia after forty-four years of marriage; brothers William (Annie) and Alex (Gertie); sisters Cecilia Parsons (Jack), Violet Whiffen, Josephine Traverse (Jerome), Martha Flynn (Tom), Kitty Hutchins (Georgia, USA), Mary Ellen Lynch and Rhoda Whiffen; sister-in-law Sadie Best; two fostered children Michael Norman (Helen) and Victor Lambe (Arianne), niece Rose/Helen Young; very special nephew Phonse Best (Carla); special niece Bridie Guy (Harold); sister-in-law Betty Spurvey; brothers-in-law Cyril Carroll (Margaret) and Patrick Carroll (Nellie); Jack Carroll, special friend Ellen Barnett, and Joe Walsh; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia. Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
