HYNES, William John- Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre, St. John's on Tuesday, January 09, 2007, William John Hynes, formerly of Southern Harbour, Placentia Bay, age 94 years. Predeceased by his wife Stella, 1972; son Brendan, 1975; brother Doug, 1998. Leaving to mourn four sons: Don (Donna), with whom he resided, St. John's; Rodrick, Yellowknife; Bern (Verna), St. John's; Max (Maryanne), Southern Harbour; six grandchildren: Kerri, Bobby, Lee and Ryan Hynes and their mother Angela Hynes; Kelli-Rae Hynes, Jim (Darlene) Hynes and their three sons, great-grandfathers Little Boys, Christopher, Joshua and Brenden Hynes who love him so much. Also, many nieces and nephews and friends, especially David and Ida Hickey and Mike Best of Southern Harbour, Placentia Bay. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday & Friday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. from Caul's Chapel. Interment to follow at Christ the King Cemetery, Southern Harbour, Placentia Bay.

William married Stella Hickey, daughter of Michael Hickey and Mary Joseph White. (Stella Hickey was born in 1911 in St. Kyran's, Newfoundland, died in 1972 and was buried in Christ the King Cemetery - Southern Harbour, Newfoundland.)
