HICKEY, Rose Marie - God called Rose Marie Hickey of St. John's, formerly of Davis Cove
and Southern Harbour, PLacentia Bay, to her eternal home 3:50 am., Monday, December
9, 2002, accompanied in he final hours and moments by family members, relatives and
friends, with the loving care of the staff at the Palliative Care Unit, Miller Centre. She was
predeceased by her Dad, James B. Hickey, 4:10 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2002 at the
Hoyles Escasoni Complex and her Mom, Hannah May, December 3, 1998, at
Hoyles-Escasoni. She leaves with blessed memories her brother Ron (Leona), Branch,
and her brother Mike (Connie), Jerseyside; two nieces and two nephews; her godfather
Dan Traverse (Bernadette), Ferndale, her Aunt Mary Ellen Inkpen (Eugene), Lewin's
Cove, Burin; special cousins, dear relatives, and friends, especially the Walsh family and
the residents of 50 KEane Place. She will also be remembered by the staff of the
neurological unit and the Cancer Clinic of the Health Sciences Centre. Waking at Caul's
Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, St. John's, Monday, December 9, from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.,
Tuesday, December 10, 2002 from 10am - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10:00
p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at 10 a.m. from St. Paul's Church,
Newfoundland Drive. Cremation to follow.
