It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Frances Rumboldt-Gillis (nee Duffy) announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Thursday, January 9, 2003 at the age of 77 years. She will be sadly missed by seven sons: Sean (Marg) Rumboldt of Labrador City, Glen (Marlene) Rumboldt of Calgary, Bruce Rumboldt of Edmonton, Gerard (Christine) Rumboldt of Stephenville, Lonnie (Carolyn) Rumboldt of Stephenville, Leslie Rumboldt of Calgary, Damian Rumboldt of Calgary and four step-sons: Rory (Maria) Gillis of New Brunswick, Peter (Julie) Gillis, Archie (Patty) Gillis, Michael (Susan) Gillis, all of Nova Scotia and seven daughters: Patsy Toorock of California, Bonnie (Baden) Clouter of Stephenville, Sharon (Mike) LeBrun of Edmonton, Kathy Mansfield of Stephenville, Vickie (Fred) White of Petawa, Ontario, Dawn (Robert) Mills of Stephenville, Deirdre Rumboldt of Corner Brook and two step-daughters: Ann (John) Duffy of Waterloo, Ontario, Catherine (Richard) Durrett of New Brunswick and one brother Hughie Duffy of Labrador, one sister Vera Hanlon of Hamilton, Ontario, 47 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husbands, Leslie Rumboldt and J. Alex Gillis and her two children, Jacinta and Bruce. Visitation took place at Russell's Funeral Home, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Services took place on Saturday, January 11th at 10:00 a.m. from St. Stephen's Parish, West Street, Stephenville. Cremation Service took place after the Funeral Service at Russell's Crematorium. A procession will leave Russell's Funeral Home, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. for Burial Service at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Campbell's Creek on Sunday, January 12th at 3:30 p.m.
