It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rosella (Rose) Morris announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the age of 80 years. She will be sadly missed by her 4 sons: Mike (Lorraine) of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, George of Stephenville, John (Cathy) of Paradise, Dwayne (Natasha) of Naples, Italy, 5 daughters: Marie (Tom) Colombe of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Sharon (Joe) Russell of Edmonton, Alberta, Peggy (Kevin) McGrath of Stephenville Crossing, Patricia (Kevin) Hoskins of Stephenville, Shirley (Andrew) White of Stephenville Crossing, 1 brother, Francis (Paula) Ballard of Stephenville, 2 sisters: Marie (Keith) Doak of Victoria, British Columbia, Marina (Tom) Tompkins of Winter Haven, Florida, USA, 19 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John Francis Morris, her parents, Leo and Alice Ballard, sisters: Josephine, Winnie, Cathy, Betty, Diane and brothers: Pat, Jim and Ed. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, April 12th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's Parish, West Street, Stephenville with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to a charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated.

Rosella married John Francis Morris, son of Matthew Morris and Caroline Osmond. (John Francis Morris was born in 1926, died on 2 Oct 2007 in Stephenville, Newfoundland and was buried in Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville, Newfoundland.)
