PARSONS, Michael Francis - Passed peacefully away at Cozy Quarters in Clarenville on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, Michael Francis Parsons of Southern Harbour, aged 80 years. Predeceased by his parents Wallace and Josephine Parsons; infant brother James; brothers Wallace and John; sister-in-law Minnie Parsons; brother-in-law Jack Leger; nephews Howie, John and Terrence Parsons and niece Yvonne Kocken. Left with fond and loving memories his sisters Madonna Leger, Annette Meritt (Wes) and Shirley Parsons (Violet); brother Lindy Parsons (Dola); sister-in-law Cecilia Parsons; a large number of nieces and nephews; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, Southern Harbour. Funeral mass will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Christ The King Catholic Church, Southern Harbour with interment to follow at Roman Catholic Cemetery, Southern Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville or the Alzheimer Society of NL.
