LEGER, Arcade Patrick Joseph (Jack) - March 17, 1937 - February 2, 2011, originally of Shediac, New Brunswick. Passed peacefully away at the residence of his daughter, in the presence of his family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Jack Leger, age 77 years. Predeceased by his brothers Leonard, Alderice, Robert, Alyre and Raymond, sisters Claire (Louis) & Helen, brothers-in-law Wallace Parsons (Minnie), Ron Martin and George Laing. Leaving to celebrate his life with love and wonderful memories are his wife and best friend of 55 years Madonna (nee Parsons); five daughters: Debbie Nurse (Chris), Wanda Thornhill (Fred), Anita Yateman (Cliff) of Kitchener, Yvonne Saunders (Bob), Jacquie Lethbridge (Dennis) with whom he resides; two sons: Donald (Kelly) of Ajax, Eugene (Stacey). Very much loved grandchildren: Angela (Glen), Jeremy (May), Danny (Christine), Chad, Joe (Andrea), Donna (Vic), Steven (Leslie), Kallista (John), Greg (Tara), Lacey (Jordan), Darla (Adam), Brittany (Dave), Alexandria (Brody), Heather (J.D.), Sammy-Joe, Bailey and Brigid, Tamara, Jessica (Benjamin) and Courtney and their mother Flora; very much loved great-grandchildren: Aaron, Emily, Olivia, Adam, Jocelyn, Jasmine, Jayden, Alison, Matthew and Alice; sisters: Flo Laing of Winnipeg, MB, Doris Martin of Collingwood, ON, Rita LeBlanc (Bert) of Shediac, NB and Lillian Leger of Montreal; sisters-in-law: Amanda, Simone, Barbara & Yvonne, all of Shediac, NB; brothers-in-law: John Parsons (Cecilia), Lindy Parsons (Dola) and Michael Parsons, all of Southern Harbour, NL; sisters-in-law: Annette Merritt (Howard) of Barto, PA and Shirley Parsons (Vi) of Kitchener, ON; lifetime friends Cedric (Ted) and Helen Anstey, Betty von Borziwoski (Bruno deceased) and a large number of other relatives and friends. Special thanks from his family to Dr. Hutton, Dr. Drover, Dr. Greenland, nurse S. Power, Dr. F. O'Shea and the cancer care palliative team. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, February 7th at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World Church. Cremation to follow.
