ENNIS, John J. - Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick`s Mercy Home on Saturday, December 11, 1999, John J. Ennis, age 101, formerly of Merasheen, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by wife Bride in 1989 and daughter Jean and three grandchildren in 1972. Leaving to mourn are daughter: Angela (Mrs. William Abbott) and son Pat (Doris) of St. John`s; also 26 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; also several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, Sunday from 10 a.m.-12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. Resting at Maher`s Funeral Home, Placentia, Monday from 2-10 p.m. Funeral Tuesday from Sacred Heart Church in Placentia at 10 a.m. Interment at Old Cemetery, Placentia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick`s Mercy Home or a charity of one`s choice.
