ABBOTT, William A. (Bill) - Passed peacefully away Wednesday, April 9, 2003, William (Bill) Abbott, age 83 years, formerly of Oderin, Placentia Bay, pharmaceutical representative for many years and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Predeceased by parents William and Lillian; brothers: John and Frank; and infant grandsons: Nicholas and Patrick. Leaving to mourn wife Angela (Ennis); sons: Bill (Fran), Don, John (Colleen), Denis (Monica) and David; daughters: Carol Ann (Marcel), Marian, Ann Marie (Ken), Judy (Rick) and Regina (Dave); grandchildren: Stephen, Andrea, Melissa, Jessica, Dennis, Daniel, Evan, Senna and Aaron; great-grandchildren: Alison and Madison; brother Len (Rita) and sister Gladys Angel; brother-in-law Pat Ennis (Doris), as well as many nieces and nephews. Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home on Thursday and Friday, April 10-11 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place Saturday, April 12 from St. Paul`s Church, Newfoundland Drive at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to World Vision or a charity of one`s choice.

William married Angela M. Ennis, daughter of John J. Ennis and Bridget "Bride" Houlihan. (Angela M. Ennis was born on 3 Nov 1925 in Merasheen Island, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland and died on 1 Nov 2015.)
