And Patrick Dunphy was my grandfather.No Thom's name was never changed to Dunphy and yes he died here in St Johns not to[o] long after we all moved in here.He fished from South East Bight and he was our next door neighbour.His Sister Ann would visit in the summer with her two boys.We were about the same age.I remember playing with them on the beach.Thom Picco was my moms step brother a very nice man. He was a friend to everyone and liked by all who knew him.Hope this helps.
Patrick married Mary Connors, daughter of John O'Connor and Hannorah "Norah." (Mary Connors was born in 1881 in Clattice Harbor NW, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, Canada, died after 1945 in S. E. Bight, Newfoundland, Canada and was buried in S. E. Bight Cemetery, Newfoundland.)
