MCGRATH, Michael P. (1937- 2008) - Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Center, Michael P. McGrath age 70 years of Dunville, P. Bay. Predeceased by son Nicholas (1973), parents John and Bridget, brothers Vincent and Richard, sisters-in-law Ellen and Elizabeth, father-in-law Anthony Leonard, mother-in-law Bridget Leonard, brothers-in-law Jack Mulrooney and Patrick Leonard. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 43 years Mary, son Tony (Donna), daughters Michele, Paulette (Greg), Jackie (Jody), Sharon (David), grandchildren Michael, Courtney, Nicholas, Cassandra, Jessica, Kirkland, and Gabrielle, brothers Bernard (Madeline) Adrian and Ambrose (Mary), sisters-in-law Bridget (Gordon) Traverse, Ida (Dave) Hickey, Judy Mulrooney, and Anne McGrath, brothers-in-law Jack (Clara) Leonard, special friends Lol Dray, whom he considered as another member of his family, and loved very much, Leo and Linda Miller, Brud and Norma Gosling, Frank and Theresa Kerrivan, Vince and Rose Pomroy, Sybil and the late Len Hindy, Junior Moore, also a large circle of other relatives and friends, and all the members of the Placentia Fire Dept. of which he was a lifetime member. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home Placentia on Sunday, November 30th, 2008 4 to 10 p.m., and Monday December 1st, 2008, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Tuesday December 2nd, 2008, 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at St. Anne's Church, Dunville, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
