DUKE, Leo Stansilaus - Passed peacefully away at Placentia Health Care on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, age 77 years. Predeceased by his parents: James and Jane Duke, sister Betty Collins, brothers: James and Raymond. Sisters-in-law: Violet Duke and Christine Duke, niece Madeline Wakeham and nephew Brian Duke. Leaving to mourn his wife Betty and loving family Billy (Yvonne), Rick (Sheila), Jackie (Eddy), Kayla (Neil), Courtney, Amy, Ryan, and special friend Sheila Taylor. Also leaving to mourn brothers: Francis (Carmel), Bill (Lucy), and Cyril, brother-in-law Doug Collins. Sisters: Margaret Stewart (Cyril), Ann Petten (Fred), Doreen Downer (Charlie). Sisters-in-law: Theresa Duke, Judy (Bob), Joan (Dave), Joyce and brother-in-law Fraser. As well a large circle of relatives and friends. Also, his loyal companion, Brandi. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to H. Bliss Murphy Centre. Funeral taking place at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 21 from 6-9 p.m., and Thursday, August 22 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral will take place at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater on Friday, August 23 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
