Bren Young: "I come from Margaret Leonard 1827-1900 [her great great grand child] who married Garret Oreilly of Placentia 1817-1886 Her parents were Edward Leonard and Alice Trowbridge. Edward was son of Oliver Leonard and Sophia Langmead. That is my reading of the docs. I have a report from the Priest in Placentia saying Margaret Leonard was from St. Leonards. There is a Margaret Leonard listed on the tree-the right age. The naming pattern of the children puts Edward and Alice where they should be. Early docs are hard to come by. PS there was some Leonards listed in the Court reports about 1786 in Placentia when Prince William was there."
