"My grandmother was from Clattice Harbour and her mother had died leaving 5 young children. Your [Jane O'Connor Foster] grandfather [Timothy O'Connor/Connors] took her and raised her after finding her barefoot and playing on the sea ice. She always spoke very fondly about him and your family."
They were all split as children. Hanna wasn't as fortunate as my grandmother and was injured as a child and never grew as a result. The oldest Rebecca entered the convent and became Sr. Anna. They had a younger brother John Will.
