Facebook posting 190122 of Kevin Greene They were all split as children. Hannah wasn't as fortunate as my grandmother and was injured as a child and never grew as a result. The oldest Rebecca entered the convent and became Sr. Anna. They had a younger brother John Will.
MULROONEY, Hannah Evening Telegram August 17, 1992 (Monday) Age 75 years, formerly of Davis Cove and Red Island and a resident of Lions Manor, Placentia. Passed peacefully away at Placentia Cottage Hospital August 15, 1992. Predeceased by son Peter and brother John Hynes. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her husband of 48 years, Peter; six children: Anne (Mrs. Oscar Remulla), Maine; Marion (Mrs. Richard Schlagel), Michigan; Barbara (Mrs. Robert Ganong), Hampton, N.B.; Brendan, Placentia; Pam (Mrs. David Sestak), Michigan; Isabelle (fiance Bill Dohey), Mount Pearl; ten grandchildren: Audrey, Charlene, Brian, Alan, Richard, Jennifer, Angela, Darren, Brenda and Colleen; one great-grandson, Christopher Jacob; two sisters: Sister Ann Hynes, Basilica, St. John's, and Bride Greene of Long Harbour; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Mahers Funeral Home, Placentia. Funeral service at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia, on Monday, August 17, at 11 a.m. Interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Hannah married Peter Mulrooney, son of Stepehn Mulrooney and Anne Judge, in 1944 in Newfoundland. (Peter Mulrooney died in 1995 in Placentia, Newfoundland.)
