SANSOME, Blanche (nee Prosper)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Blanche Sansome announce her passing on Tuesday, October 19, 1999 at the Interfaith Home for Senior Citizens in her 78th year. She will be sadly missed by her loving children: two sons: Robert Sansome and wife Alice of Stephenville, Norman Sansome of Irishtown; four daughters: Irvene Curtis and husband Ed of Corner Brook, Elizabeth Miller and husband Wilson of Halifax, Beverley Marks and husband James of Corner Brook, and Barbara Battcock and husband John of Toronto. She will also be sadly missed by her eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren, as well as her two sisters: Mabel Maxwell and husband Minto and Vicki Quibell, both of Corner Brook, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Austin in 1989, her son George in 1965, parents Alfreda and James Prosper, three brothers and two sisters. The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 21st at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence St., Rev. Percy Coffin officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Ave. Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9. As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to St. Lukes Unit, Interfaith Home will be graciously accepted.

Blanche married Austin Sansome. (Austin Sansome was born in 1917 in Twillingate, Newfoundland, Canada, died on 27 Feb 1989 in Newfoundland, Canada and was buried in Mt. Patricia Anglican Cemetery - Corner Brook, Newfoundland.)
