HERBERT, Elizabeth (Betty) nee Ennis - Passed away peacefully at home in Charlotte, North Carolina on Monday May 30, 2005. Elizabeth (Betty) Herbert age 69, born Red Island, Newfoundland and formerly of Carmel, New York. Leaving to mourn her husband of 46 years, Arthur; four children William (Elaine) Herbert, Wichita, KS; John (Charmaine) Herbert, Grafton, WI; Donald (Clare) Herbert, Carmel, NY; Mary Herbert, Charolotte, NC. Also leaving to mourn six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, eleven brothers and sisters: Mary Ennis, St. John's; Norah (Bob) Ingulli, Long Island, NY; Vincent (Lucy) Ennis, Goulds; Nellie (Gerald) Deveraux, Mt. Pearl; Clarrisa (Stan) Lafitte, Port au Port; Rita (Leonard) Clowe, Middle Cove; Theresa Walsh, BC; John (Gertie) Ennis, BC; Peter (Avie) Ennis, BC; Jerome (Theresa) Ennis, Goulds; Sheila Ennis, BC and a large circle of relatives & friends. Resting at Adams-Cordovano Funeral Home, 15 Church St. Carmel, NY 10512.Visitation on Thursday June 2nd and Friday June 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Funeral Mass at St. James the Apostle R.C. Church on Saturday June 4th 10 am. Interment to follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Association or Cancer Society. Memorial Service in St. John's TBA.
