POMEROY, Clarence (age 83 years) - Passed peacefully away at his home in Foxtrap on Saturday, March 18, 2000, formerly of Great Paradise. Predeceased by his wife Anne 1989, son William 1969. Leaving to mourn three sons: Clarence (Bernadette), George (Carmelita), Ernie (Jessie); one daughter: Loretta O` Brien (Phonse); 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two brothers: Albert (Carmel), Placentia; John (Frances), Port Hawksbury, NS; three sisters-in-law: Patricia Pomeroy, Margaret Dunphy, Mary Jo Dunphy; also other relatives and friends. Resting at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, March 21, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Edward`s Church, Kelligrews. Interment at R.C. Cemetery, Topsail.
