Martha P. Burrell, 72, of Johnstown, died Sunday, November 23, 2003 at her residence. Funeral service will be 10 am Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, with Pastor Tom Myers offiiciating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Burrell was born November 26, 1930 in Johnstown, to the late Urvin and Bertha Priest Hartsock. She retired from Diebolt, Inc., Newark, graduated from Johnstown High School in the class of 1948. Survived by a daughter, Mona Piper; son, Bob (Penny) Burrell; sister, Mary Poulton; two brothers, Lester and Urvin Hartsock all of Johnstown; two grandchildren, Matthew Piper and Liz (Shawn) Litterini; two great granddaughters, Tiffany and Christia Piper. Preceded in death by her husband Robert Burrell, two sisters Margie Simmons and Maggie Baker, one brother Delno Hartsock. Family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at the funeral home.
