It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eddie Hawco announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Sunday, December 5, 1999 at the age of 72 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Ida and one son, Elias (Betty) Hawco in Port au Port East and two daughters: Yvonne Hawco (Harold Doucette) in Kippens, Joanne Hawco (Jackie Pomeroy) in Stephenville and three sisters: Mary (Gordon) Brenton in Thomlea, Trinity Bay, Veronica Hynes in Port au Port East, Margaret Fulford in Ontario and daughter-in-law, BJ Hawco in Port au Port East; six grandchildren: Tracey, Tanya, Tamara, Mandy, Jodie, Jevon; a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Edward and Winnifred Hawco and son Raymond Hawco and one sister Rita Miller and one brother Tom Hawco. Friends may call at Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port East on Monday and Tuesday. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, December 8th at 2:00 p.m. from Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port East with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home, 39 Queen Street in Stephenville.
