Facebook posting 14 Feb 2020 "according to Darryl's research that is true. To quote him "vital statistics (District of Placentia and St. Mary's Reel #19 p468 line13) states they were married November 15 1904. James was 27, Mary 21. Witnesses were Patrick Pittman (brother of James) and Mary E. Penny. James's place of residence was "Challoners Hr" (note spelling) Mary's was Clattice Hr.

"......as you can see there are a number of different spellings - the Census of both 1921 and 1935 spell it as Chandler's Hr. In other instances it has been spelled Channel Hr. Possibly because of the access to the salt-water pond there, but just a guess. Have not seen it on a map although I have no doubt it's there on some of the older archived ones."
