It is with great sadness that the family of the late RAYMOND J. POWER of Mooring Cove announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on May 2, 2016, at the age of 65. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his soul mate of 14 years, Mary Whelan; son, Colin Power (Melissa Mitchell) of Mooring Cove; daughter, Tanya Hynes (Glen) of Medicine Hat, AB; sisters, Diane Dober (Frank) of Spanish Room, Carm Holley (Les) of Mooring Cove and Marie Hodder (Colin) of Mooring Cove; brothers, John (Irene) Power of Fort McMurray, AB, Patrick (Debbie) Power of Mooring Cove, Gerald Power of Mooring Cove, Eric (Sandra) Power of Mooring Cove and George (Barb) Power of Marystown; 2 grandchildren, Brandon Hartson and Hayley Hynes; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents, Patrick and Louise Power; sister, Marion Power-Dagenais; sister-in-law, Wanda Power. Resting and visitation will take place from Wiseman's Funeral Home in Marystown on Tuesday, May 3 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Thursday, May 5, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown.
