"The many friends of Mr Curtis Moore late manager of the Kauri Timber Company's Mill at Shortland but now Manager of the Kiri Kiri Mill will regret to hear of the death of his wife which took place at Kiri Kiri yesterday aftenoon from pneumonia...the deceased lady was well known and was universally esteemed and respected...much sympathy is expressed with Mr. Moore in his bereavement....interment will be private and no mourning will be worn. The remains will be intered in the TARARU Cemetery
