BROWN, Stella Phoebe - Passed away after a short illness at Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Saturday, January 16, 1993, Stella Phoebe Brown, age 79 years. Predeceased by her husband Captain Charles Brown in 1988. Leaving to mourn one daughter Marion Hilscher at Texas; two sons: Wilfred and wife Shirley at Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Baxter and wife Audrey at Mount Pearl; one sister Jane Bartlett at Toronto; three sisters-in-law Gussie Barnes, Maud Brown and husband Lew (both at St. John's), Doris Seymour (husband Jack) at Bishop's Falls and brother-in-law Sam Brown at St. John's; ten grandchildren and a large number of great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20th from Barrett's Chapel. - BROWN, STELLA PHOEBE 16 Jan 1993
