BUNGAY, Sandy

Passed peacefully away at his residence in Grand Bank on Friday, April 3rd, 2009, surrounded by his loving family, Sandy Bungay, age 80 years. Predeceased by father and mother George and Annie Bungay; brothers Thomas Bungay and Raymond Bungay; sisters Edith Rideout, Violet Rideout, Doris Loveless and Blanche Loveless; son-in-law Charles Walters. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Gladys of 59 years; son Lindsay (Gladys), daughter Dessie Walters; grandchildren Kim Strowbridge (Derek) of Grand Bank, Karen Nurse (Pete) of Lantz, Nova Scotia, Danny Walters (Wanda) of St. John's, Cheryl Thessian (Ryan) of Brooks, Alberta; great grandchildren Jennifer, Lindsey, Bradley, Jake and Kathleen; brothers Kenneth Bungay (Elsie) of Fortune, Lewis Bungay (Elsie) of Seal Cove, Fortune Bay; sister Donnabelle Rose (Albert) of Grand Bank, sister-in-law Gertie Bungay of Seal Cove, Fortune Bay. Also a circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home Grand Bank on Saturday from 2 pm - 5 pm; 7 pm - 9 pm; and on Sunday from 10 am - 12 noon; 2 pm - 5 pm; 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Monday at 2 pm from the Salvation Army, Grand Bank. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery Grand Bank. Donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund Grand Bank. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
