BEST, Leonard - Passed suddenly away on January 1st, 2004, Leonard Best, one month before his 62nd birthday. Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Agnes Best and brother Maxwell. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son Glenn and his mother Diane; brothers Lionel (Emily) Wicks of Gander, NL; Cator (Jean) Best of Kippens, NL; sisters Annie of Campbellton, NL; Agnes Hownsell (Wilmore) of Walton, NS and Beryl Howell (Calvin) of Wesleyville, NL; and sister-in-law Lena Best of Wesleyville, NL; also, a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Stacey`s Funeral Home, Gander, 10-12, 2-4 and 7-9 on Saturday, January 3rd and 10-12 on Sunday, January 4th. Funeral Service to take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 4th, 2004 from the United Church in Glenwood, interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Glenwood.
