Obituary for Vincent Withers
Vincent Patrick Withers, passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at the age of 85. Born in Little Paradise, P. Bay, on August 23, 1929, to the late William and Marian Withers. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary Withers (nee White) and brothers Bill and Jim. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Joe, Vince (Rosarii), Reg and daughters, Ann (Mike) and Mary (Keith) and brother Peter (Ada) and sister Emmie Battcock. Pop will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Renee, Laurie, Cheryl, Reggie, Heather, Michelle, Colton, Kendra and Nathan and great grandchildren: Matthew, Victoria, Brady, Tyson, Lincoln, Joseph, Penelope, Marisol. Also leaving to mourn are close friends: Lolly, Margie, Zita, Pius and Mrs. Marie McGrath as well as a many other family and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Thursday and Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 and Saturday from 2:00 - 8:00 and Sunday from 5:00 - 8:00 . . Funeral Mass to take place on Monday April 6, 2015 at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater at 11:00 A.M. with interment to take place in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
