It is with great sadness that the family of the late ----------ADDIE PITTMAN of Marystown announces her passing at the Elizabeth Bruyere Centre in Ottawa, ON, on Friday, September 22, 2017, at the age of 90. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughter, Della (Keith) Allen of Russell, ON; 3 grandchildren, Scott (Bea) Allen of Quispamsis, NB, Derek Allen of Metcalf, ON, and Kilah (Steve) Vandevisch of Embrun, ON; 10 great-grandchildren, Isaac, Maggie, Emma, Ryan, Sarah, Jenna, Owen, Adam, Hannah, and Benjamin; daughter-in-law, Dianne Blundon - Goodyear and children, Jody & Kayla of Carmanville; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William Pittman; son, Wayne Pittman; and parents, Adela & Frank Power.
The Pittman Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman's Funeral Homes in Marystown on Tuesday, September 26th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, September 27th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Thursday, September 28th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Thursday, September 28th, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. Adela married William "Bill" A. Pittman, son of Richard Patrick Pittman and Ida Farewell. (William "Bill" A. Pittman was born in 1925 in Marystown, Burin Peninsula, Newfoundland, died on 18 Nov 2005 in Marystown, Burin Peninsula, Newfoundland and was buried in Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Marystown, Newfoundland.)
