Willis G. Besemer, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at the age of 81. He retired from Cornell University after 42 years of service. He was a avid swimmer with his friend, Joe, at The Island Fitness. He loved motorcycles, skiing, and beautiful women. He will be missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Besemer; sons, daughter, sister, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Willis was predeceased by his parents, Leah and George; and son, Brian. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, May 6, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Bangs Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Ford officiating. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Fire and EMS, P.O. Box 506, Newark Valley, NY 13811 in Willy's name
