He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Hynes and Mary Hynes; and his sisters, Agnes, Eileen, Viola, Marg and Marjorie.
He is survived by : his children, Rosalie Camirand (Mike), Jean Neal (Tim), Roddy, Andrew, Kenny, Patsy (Jack), Gerald, Aaron, Jacqueline Jesso (Darren), Shirley Kryklywy (Andrew), Colin Paul (Donna) and Valerie Paul (Anand); and his siblings, Isaac Hynes, Hillard Hynes (Marg), Bernard Hynes, Fintan Hynes and Stella Carey. He is also survived by grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
Harold married Nina Hann, daughter of John Hann and Viola. (Nina Hann was born in Jan 1932 in Newfoundland and died in May 2017 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland.)
