HYNES, Michael Bernard \endash Age 86, Dartmouth, It is with deep sadness, the family of Michael Bernard Hynes shares his passing in Dartmouth, on May 18, 2020 in Dartmouth General Hospital. A proud native of Port-au-Port, Newfoundland, Michael Bernard "Bernie" moved to Nova Scotia to be closer to his two girls after the loss of his wife Jean in 2012. Having reached the age of 86, he will be missed by his girls Bernice (Daryl) Clarke; Dale (Michael) MacDonald; his grandson, Hunter Clarke; and his three brothers, Isaac Hynes, Hilliard (Marg) Hynes, and Fintan Hynes along with his sister Stella Carey.
He was predeceased by his wife Genevieve "Jean" Hynes; parents, Joseph and Mary Hynes; brothers, Joseph and Harold; sisters; Agnes, Eileen, Viola, Marg, and Marjorie.

My condolences to the family. I didn't know great Uncle Bernie that well but am sorry to hear of his passing. My mother sends her condolences as well. Bernie was her uncle. Her father was his brother, Joseph Hynes
Michael married Genevieve Dennis, daughter of Leo Dennis and Genevieve Lainey. (Genevieve Dennis was born on 20 Feb 1948 in Three Rock Cove, Newfoundland and died on 1 Nov 2012 in Stephenville, Newfoundland.)
