It is with great sadness that the family of the late Blanche Elsie Flynn announce her passing on October 3, 2000 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 65th year. She will be sadly missed by her children: Holly Flynn, Rose Kennedy (Bernard), Terry (June), Tony (Effie), John; grandchildren: Cara, Sara, Kelsey and Randy; sister Dulcie Baker, Alberta; brothers: Lloyal Hunt, Alberta, Tuney Hunt (Audrey), Boswarlos, Martin Hunt, Boswarlos, Wade Hunt (Gloria), NS, Cecil Hunt (Marie), Alberta, Bill Hunt (Myra), Ontario, Llewellyn Hunt, Kippens; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Gary Flynn, parents Rebecca and Joseph Hunt, sisters: Violet Harvey, Freda Hepditch, Marjorie Young, Stella Tarbox, brother Charlie Hunt, she was also predeceased by William Flynn. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from the Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mt. Bernard Avenue. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Chemotherapy Unit, c/o The Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.

Freda married Alexander "Sandy" Hepditch, son of David J. Hepditch and Monica Hapgood. (Alexander "Sandy" Hepditch was born on 30 Sep 1930 in Clattice Habor, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland and died on 8 Feb 2022 in Point Au Mal, Newfoundland.)
